Yesterday couldn’t have been the overwhelming success it was without the support and dedication of our volunteers. The Jake Ash Band was rocking, everyone having a good time and telling countless stories about Matt. Thank you to those who donated to Venmo, offered their time, sponsored the run, and showed up in such a big way. Funds from the bike run go right back to our mission.
Annual Winter Happenings
- Each Thanksgiving, LND donates turkeys and gift cards for all of the fixings to the VA to be distributed to Veterans in need.
- Every Christmas, LND adopts Veterans and Veteran families as well as First Responders dealing with challenges by fulfilling Christmas wish lists.
- Every winter, LND donates 50 winter essential backpacks to veterans in need. Each bag contains:
- Sweatshirts and sweatpants
- Winter blankets
- Hats and gloves
- Handwarmers
- Hygiene products
- Eyeglasses
